The vision of Greenford Lutheran Church is to allow the love of God in Christ Jesus to transform each member of our congregation into a grace based, Bible believing, mission minded, disciple of the Triune God.
Greenford Lutheran Church confesses belief in the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one eternal divine essence. Jesus Christ, the incarnate Word of God, is proclaimed as Lord and Savior, whose life, death, and resurrection bring redemption and new life. Salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith, not by works, as Christ's sacrifice atones for all sin. The Scriptures are the inspired and authoritative Word of God, guiding faith and life. The church upholds historic creeds and confessions as faithful expressions of the Gospel and centers its teachings on God's creative, redeeming, and sanctifying work in the world.
At Greenford Lutheran Church, our worship service is a time to gather as a church family, understanding we are broken and blessed, confessing our sins, receiving God’s grace, and being sent out in the world for the glory of God and the good of the Mahoning Valley. Each Sunday at 10:30 AM, we come together to hear God’s Word, lift our voices in song, and celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Rooted in Lutheran tradition, our worship blends meaningful liturgy with messages that inspire and guide us in our daily lives. Whether you join us in person or via our live stream on YouTube, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere where all are invited to encounter God’s grace and grow in their faith journey.
