Service Opportunities
Our Refugee Support Ministry seeks to welcome and care for refugee families in our area by helping find and furnish living spaces, collecting clothing, buying groceries and developing friendships.
NALC Disaster Relief
Eucharistic Prayer Ministry is one of the most important serving opportunities we have to offer at GLC. Together with Pastor Josh, we share in the opportunity to go visit those who cannot make it to church for any reason (home bound, nursing home, injury, birth of the child, etc) to bring the Lord’s Supper to them, spend time with them, and pray for them.
Eucharistic Prayer Ministry
GLC’s men's ministry aims to strengthen the relationships between the men of our church through opportunities for service and fellowship, including an annual retreat.
Men’s Ministry
The women’s ministry of GLC strives to create space for the women of GLC to have fellowship, prayer, learning and more.
Women’s Ministry
The Young Adults ministry creates opportunities for people to connect and experience fellowship, including lunches after church and other social events.
3 C’s
Middle and high schoolers meet twice a month on Thursday evenings for dinner, Bible study, and prayer, as well as occasional events and service projects throughout the year.
Youth Group
The Missions Committee meets regularly to pray for and discuss how we as a church can bring Christ’s kingdom to every corner of the earth.
Missions Committee
The Missional Communities will gather once per month at a “third space.” The hope of these gatherings is spend time together and with those not yet in the church in relational ministry. These spaces are created for the width of ministry, rather than prioritizing depth. Each gathering we share some type of meal (either in someone’s home or in a local restaurant), a shortened version of evening prayer, and time for hanging out, playing games, singing if the group so chooses.
